Sunday Adult Education Classes

9:00am  Join Doreen Klages for The Apostle Paul Study: his life, his journeys, and his letters. Starts September 10th in Faith Center Classroom 2

9:00am Strengthening Your Faith. Join guest facilitator, David Brown Jr as he leads a discussion on applying Biblical knowledge to everyday living. Main scripture for this discussion will be 2nd Peter 1:3-10. January 14, 21, 28, 2024 at 9am in Faith Center Classroom 3&4.

10:15am  Join John Hellrung A Walk through the Spiritual Disciplines. We will be using the text, Spiritual Classics edited by Richard J.  Foster and Emilie Griffin. The book is available on Amazon for $11.49. Starts September 17th in Faith Center Classroom 3 & 4.

Bible Studies

Katie's Table (Women's Bible Study): Join us in our study of  The Ten Women of the Bible by Max Lucedo. Runs September 2023 to May 2024 at 6:30pm in the Martin Luther Library.

Men's Square Bible Study (early bird breakfast)- Wednesday mornings at 7:00am at Bob Evans.

Fit4God: Small group opportunity for Bible study and support for leading a God-honoring healthy life.  Next class will be a Lenten Journey of prayer. We will meet Thursday February 15-March 21, 2024. Our devotions for this session will be 40 Days with Jesus by Sarah Young. Join us for a Lenten discipline of prayer.

Additional Small Group and Serving Opportunities

Journey On:  Fellowship group for older, single adults. We will meet on the 4th Sunday of the month to enjoy Sunday lunch together after the 10:30am worship. Contact the church office to get on the elist for all the inside information and additional outings.

Card and Game Club: 1st Wednesday of the month (except during Advent and Lent) at 6:30pm. Childcare will be available. Please let us know that you need childcare, so that we make sure we have enough staff.

Linger Longer: Faith & Fellowship for young families will meet the 1st Sunday of the month after the 9am worship for a Linger Longer opportunity. Follow us on our Facebook Group for the details  not only monthly events but pop up opportunities to gather.

Women's Book Club: Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  Contact Janet Hernandez for information or check the weekly announcements for the most recent reading list. Books are selected by and led by the group members.

Men's Book Club: Please check the weekly announcements or church calendar for the next book and meeting time.

Rise & Shine: walk, run, stroll group. Great opportunity for individuals and families to come together for a morning of fitness and fellowship. We meet May through November (or when the temps are below 25) at 8am on Saturday mornings at the trailhead of the MCT trail across from Fulton Jr. High. 60's + Group: Faith's older adults, those who are 60 years young and up, meet monthly at a nearby restaurant for fellowship and food with their own age group. Group meets at 11:30am on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Watch the announcements for the location and RSVP info.

5th Monday Ladies' Night Out: When there is a 5th Monday in a month, adult women meet at a restaurant for fun, food, and fellowship. 1/29/24, 4/29/24, 7/29/24, 9/30/24, 12/30/24

Balanced: A fun and interactive program focused on safety, strength, flexibility, and balance. 9:30-11am in the Sanctuary Oct 16, 23, 30, Nov 6, 13, 20, 27, Dec 4 .

Lutheran World Relief Quilters: (No experience necessary!)  Quit top packages can be found in the Narthex anytime. We meet for a tying sessions the 2nd Monday of the month at 2pm.

COMMUNITY MEALS: Free meals on Monday evenings.  All are welcome.  Contact the church office or Betsy Layfield if you would like to volunteer.
