For those dealing with the stresses and crises of everyday life, Faith Lutheran offers hope, support and encouragement through DivorceCare groups, Stephen Ministry, free Community Meals, the Love Fund, GriefShare and pastoral visits. When life becomes overwhelming, the support of a Stephen Minister provides a compassionate shoulder to lean on. DivorceCare and GriefShare Groups bring those in similar circumstances together to support one another with the guidance of a leader who understands the common issues of loss of the family unit, or of a loved one through death or divorce. Sometimes the stressors are financial and a bit of support through the Love Fund or participation in Financial Peace University can help a family on the road to financial independence. Free Community Meals provide a healthy meal with Christian fellowship on Monday evenings to supplement and stretch a tight budget or to provide a family setting for those who are alone.
